Maria Barraza, the executive director of The Brooklyn Fashion Incubator dresses “ Grammy’s nominee ” in 2024

Kirsten Agresta Copely is an international award-winning harpist & composer based in New York City. Available for TV/film, recordings, live performances, and all special events. She has performed for heads of state, including U.S. President Obama, on late night TV, in blockbuster movie soundtrack.

Maria Barraza is a NY designer that also owns a high end boutique in Stonington, CT where in addition to her "off the rack" designs offers special occasion dressing to her clients such as Ms. Agresta-Copely for her Aquamarine album Grammy nomination event.

The dress was designed in an ethereally aquatic hand printed silk charmeuse by Rhode Island artist Jerelyn Abicca-Smestad in morphing shades of Cerulean, Turquoise, and Aquamarine. The silk mousseline overlay in the same blues ombre has a "fish wire" edging that creates a "wave" effect as it cascades from the left front to the center back of the style. The self tubular belt is finished with hand painted and crystal beads picking up the shades of the print. Boyer New York's Aquamarine and Silver drop earrings complement the dress perfectly.
